Measurements explained!
Let’s break down some of the important terms you’ll see when picking the perfect lenses for your eyes!
- Diameter (DIA): the total diameter of the lens, including the transparent part that covers your eye. Bigger lenses = more coverage!
- Graphic Diameter (G.DIA): the diameter of the graphic / colored part of the lens — the colored or patterned area that you see when you look at the lens. Bigger graphic diameter = more doll-like look!
G.DIA Guide 🔍
Here’s how different G.DIA sizes will look :
1️⃣ G.DIA < 13.3mm = Natural Look
These sizes will make your eyes pop but still look super natural and soft.
2️⃣ G.DIA 13.4mm – 14.0mm = Noticeable look
A little bigger for a more noticeable effect, but still elegant and bold!
3️⃣ G.DIA > 14.0mm = Very Noticeable look
These are great if you want a dramatic, striking effect. Your eyes will definitely stand out!
Note: these guidelines are just a reference — the perfect G.DIA depends on your unique iris size and the look you want to achieve! ✨
- Base Curve(BC): the radius of the back of the lens — the part that fits snugly on your eye. People’s average BC is around 8.5–8.7mm. If your BC isn’t the right fit for your eye, the lens might move around and could scratch your eye. Ouch! So, make sure you choose the right BC for your perfect fit! 💖
Water content explained!
Water content in contact lenses is super important! It helps your lenses keep their shape and stay comfy in your eyes. Let’s dive into the two types of water content: Low vs. High!
💧 Low water content
advantages
- Comfortable for longer wear — ideal for all-day comfort!
- Less sensitive to environmental changes — no worries about dryness!
- Low protein buildup — keeping your lenses fresh!
- Compatible with any lens care product — easy peasy!
disadvantages
- Lower Dk (oxygen permeability) — less oxygen gets to your eyes.
- Less flexible — not as stretchy as high water lenses.
- Thin and tricky to handle — be careful when putting them in or taking them out!
💧 High Water Content
advantages
- Feels comfy when you first wear them — soft and smooth from the get-go!
- Higher Dk — more oxygen for your eyes, keeping them fresh!
- Quick to bounce back — they regain their shape fast if they get squished.
disadvantages
- Fragile — handle with care!
- Less flexible — not as stretchy as high water lenses.
Expiration date explained!
Keep your lenses fresh and safe by checking these important dates ✨
Expiration dates are expressed as YY-MM-DD. For example:
⌛ 31-08-01 indicates the expiry date. The lenses will expire on August 31, 2031. As long as the expiration date hasn’t passed, the lenses are safe to open and use! ✅
🏭 24-08-02 refers to the manufacturing date, which means the lenses were made on August 2, 2024.
The frequency indicates the usage length from the date you open the lens package. Even if you use the lenses only once in a while, remember to dispose of them once the frequency has passed! Frequency depends on the lens' water content and material.
Quantity is the number of lenses in each package. For example, a 1-month pack might come with 2 lenses (one for each eye!).

After you remove your lenses, clean, rinse, and disinfect them with multipurpose solution. This will help avoid discomfort and prevent infections!

Limit Wear Time ⏰
We don’t recommend wearing your lenses for more than 6 hours at a time. Give your eyes a rest to stay fresh and happy!
